How does Flipz.be work?

Flipz.be is an auction website. We sell goods to the highest bidder, very similar to eBay. Flipz.be, however, is simpler and much more direct!

On the main page of you will find some goods (and services) for sale. Not thousands like on other websites, but only a very limited selection of extremely interesting deals.
Every auction normally starts at €0.00. What you see, is what you buy. In fact, we are selling expensive technological gadgets for less than 1 euro often!

Every auction has a countdown clock. It will go all the way down, and when it stays at zero, the auction is terminated. If it satisfies the reserve price, it goes to the person with the best bid. If not, all bids are returned (including a bonus of 20%)

Flipz Rally is the orginal and most simple concept. It is very easy to understand, and hardly requires any tactics whatsoever.

If you find anything that is worth having, you "flipz" it! That means that you bid. Whenever you do, the price goes up by €0.01, and you are the last bidder. If it would end now (time ran out and reserve price is met) than the object is yours for the current sales price. Even if it is only a few cents! But if anyone flipzes after you, he/she will become the likely buyer.

So everything is about "flipz": every bid will cost you exactly one "flipz". If you run, you can buy new ones by clicking the button on your right hand side of the screen. Thanks to PayPal you can do this in all confidence. The more flipz you buy at once, the cheaper they'll get. Every now and then you'll find an auction of flipz! And better still, you can even earn free flipz!

You should understand:

1. Every bid will cost you one "flipz", which you can buy through PayPal.
2. Every bid pulls the auction back to you, and away from you competitors.
3. Every bid increases the time left.
4. Every bid increases the price with one eurocent.
5. When time runs out and the reserve price has been met, we sell to the last bidder at the current price.

If the good your are buying is something that needs to sent to your address, it will be delivered a few days later. Within Belgium all shipping is free (unless specifically mentioned). There may be shipping costs to any other EU country, but we promise not to make any profit on those.

Some differences with auction sites such as eBay are:

1. Flipz.be only offers a very limited selection of goods. So there is no need to search or get lost. And you always know exactly what you are bidding for.
2. Everything starts at €0.00, and the winner really pays the final offer. Even if that would be only €0.01! (unless the reserve price is higher)
3. Flipz.be sells no second hand goods. Everything on this site is brand new, unused and unopened unless specifically mentioned.
4. Every auction on this website we sell ourselves. So no more mysterious sellers of whom you wonder if they'll actually ship anything.
5. You know what every bid is worth upfront! There are no gigantic leaps on Flipz.be!
6. Every bidder has either bought or earned his/her flipz. So no more douchebags that only bid without any intention of buying.
