We like to think that every auction has only one winner, but a lot of losers. On Flipz.be you spend one "flipz" for every bid, and you probably paid those. So even if the winner only has to pay a ridiculously low price, we hope to have been compensated by all the income of all those bids, one flipz at a time. Or at least, that's the idea.

No it clearly is not since there is no random factor involved. There are no dice, no deck of cards, no lottery number, and there is nothing like that in our system's code. Everything depends on the actions of the participants.

You will need some luck to win an auction of course. But not more than you'd need to win a game of football; you hope your rivals make a mistake.

You can turn this option on or off by signing on and and going to "your profile" (right underneath the amount of flipz you've got left). So you can choose whether or not you want to receive are e-mails. And you can change your mind at any time.

Indeed. This happens all the time. You see, your web browser gets new data only once every second. In reality the time you see, is never the real time at the web server; you could be off by one second.

In fact, it is possible that somebody sees '8' while somebody else is seeing '7'. We feel this would not be fair to those who are "late within the second", so we have introduced "the zeroth second". You cannot bid on '0', but it gives somebody who is still seeing '1' the chance to do so. This makes it fair again.

Beware! Do not wait until the very last instant to bid! For there are many causes that could slow you down: your web browser, your operating system, your Internet connection, other applications running,...

It is not impossible that there may be some technical issue on our side. But it is probably just related to Internet Explorer and/or Windows. That software in unreliable and full of nasty bugs. Sure you can reboot your computer, that might help... but it is better avoid Microsoft products altogether.

We strongly advise Firefox to everyone. It is free, better, bolder, a lot faster and especially a lot more secure! Google Chrome, Opera, and Safari are also smart alternatives.

Yes you can! You can register for a (free) PayPal account. In there you'll be given the possibility to "add funds" to your PayPal account by transferring money from your bank account.

Every transfer of money within the EU should be free of charge, and probably works from your home banking software.

It may take a while for your money to arrive on you PayPal account. But once it's there, you can use it to buy flipz (as well as so many other things throughout the Internet). It should cost you one extra cent, and you don't need a credit card for it.

Well, that depends on how many one buy at once. On average you can count about half a euro for one flipz. But if you buy them in larger quantities they become really cheap.

It's also important to mention that you can earn flipz by getting others onto this website, so they can also buy at our incredible prices.
